Happiness is not a destination or a switch you can flip, it's a journey and a lifestyle. Many of us still struggle day to day with feelings of loneliness, anxiety, depression, and even suicidal thoughts in many. There are things we can do to help change this though - you're not alone and you're not helpless.
Dan Harris knows this all too well - probably most famous for his public panic attack LIVE on the air back in 2004. Afterwards he got interested in brain chemistry, and the WHY behind his episode. He found meditation to be a HUGE form of self care, and decided to become an advocate for mindfulness, meditation, and mental health in general. Here's his back story:
I had the chance to speak with him for my company's radio special "I'm Listening" and he had some pretty solid tips for all of us who still struggle on the daily.
A big advocate for meditation and all around happiness / mindfulness, you can find out more about Dan and his mission - 10 Percent Happier - HERE.
Thanks for reading! Talk to you soon. You got this.
